Yolk Digital is seeking a Solution Architect to join the Department of Industry, Science and Resources (DISR), supporting the Chief Information Officer Division's delivery of ICT projects across the organisation. DISR plays a central role in the Australian Government's economic agenda, driving a productive, resilient and sustainable economy through investment in science, technology and industry. The CIO Division provides enabling services and operations delivery to the department and Australian businesses, with a current focus on artificial intelligence and emerging technology initiatives. Working primarily across Microsoft Azure, M365, Dynamics 365 and DevOps platforms, you will bring deep cloud architecture expertise to help design and deliver solutions that meet DISR's evolving digital needs.

• Design high-level and detailed solution architectures for Azure-based applications across a range of ICT projects • Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery • Configure and design Azure virtual networks including hybrid network architecture and cloud-native web ingress patterns • Apply cyber security controls including ISM, OWASP and Essential 8 frameworks within a federal government context • Translate business requirements into detailed design solutions using clear language, diagrams and accurate technical documentation • Engage and liaise with stakeholders across business units, development teams, cloud engineers, cyber security experts and enterprise architects • Work independently to deliver outcomes while building productive working relationships across the division • Contribute to the department's artificial intelligence and emerging technology agenda

EL1 equivalent

12 months

1. Demonstrated experience in understanding business requirements and solutioning designs for Azure based cloud environments into HLD and DLD as well as reusable architecture patterns 2. Experience implementing and administering Azure cloud services. Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Azure DevOps highly regarded 3. Ability to build productive relationships and work with stakeholders including enterprise architecture groups, cyber security teams, and cloud operations to secure design approval 4. Demonstrated experience applying information security concepts and best practices including Information Security Manual (ISM)

1. Experience with a broad range of cloud technologies including Azure AI, ML and Cognitive services, Data Solutions, DevOps, CI/CD, Integration solutions, and API/Services Oriented Architecture 2. Ability to work with limited guidance in an Agile environment
