Yolk Digital is engaged by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts to source an experienced Senior .NET Developer to enhance and support a portfolio of business systems and internet-facing web applications. You'll work across the full development lifecycle — design, build, test, review and deploy — collaborating with business areas and fellow developers to ship new components, uplift existing functionality, and keep a mature .NET estate healthy. This is a hands-on senior role with room to shape standards, mentor through code review, and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with business areas and the delivery team to design new components and enhancements to existing functions. • Build and support .NET systems and internet-facing web applications. • Contribute to scoping and estimation, and bring ideas for continuous improvement. • Apply and maintain development standards and best-practice methods to keep product quality consistently high. • Provide detailed technical and professional advice on complex problems. • Help translate requirements into user stories and design artefacts that work for client stakeholders. • Conduct code reviews to ensure customisation quality is high and appropriate design patterns are being followed.

Senior - EL1 equivalent

Hybrid working arrangement (e.g. 3 days in the office, 2 days remote).

1. Demonstrated experience using Microsoft .NET Framework and C#, Visual Studio, and Team Foundation Server to build business solutions. 2. Demonstrated experience designing, developing and maintaining web applications in ASP.NET Forms and MVC, WCF and WebAPI, Entity Framework and LightSwitch. 3. Demonstrated experience with popular JavaScript libraries including jQuery, jQueryUI, Knockout and AngularJS. 4. Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining integrated applications involving at least one of: Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft SharePoint, HP TRIM, CA Clarity, Intelledox Forms, or Microsoft FIM/MIM. 5. Demonstrated experience delivering business solutions using at least one of: CRM Solutions, SharePoint Solutions, SQL SSIS, SQL SSRS, Power BI, or Windows Services. 6. Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to work with diverse and non-technical stakeholders.

1. Tertiary qualifications in an ICT-related field, or applicable industry certifications. 2. Experience working in federal government agencies delivering enterprise solutions. 3. Experience documenting complex information system requirements. 4. Demonstrated relationship management with technical teams, driving effective communication and prompt issue resolution.
