Overview Yolk Digital is recruiting an experienced Delivery Manager to support the Digital Communications Branch at Services Australia, primarily across the Services Australia website. This is a hands-on coordination role sitting between Product Managers, technical leads, designers and senior stakeholders — making sure agreed outcomes land on time, to quality, and with the governance and transparency the agency expects. The role is also known internally as Agile Coach (EL1), but the focus is multi-team and workstream delivery rather than product ownership or methodology coaching. You won't own backlog prioritisation or product direction. You will own how work is delivered, how risks and dependencies are surfaced, and how stakeholders feel about progress and decisions.
Delivery planning and coordination • Build and maintain integrated delivery plans across multiple teams and workstreams — milestones, sequencing, dependencies, risks and delivery trade-offs. • Monitor progress against plan and act early where scope, timeline, quality or delivery confidence are at risk. Stakeholder management and reporting • Provide clear, decision-focused reporting on progress, risks, issues, dependencies, scope and delivery confidence. • Act as the central coordination point between delivery teams, Product Managers and business stakeholders, and manage expectations when scope, capacity or priorities shift. Governance, risk and release readiness • Ensure delivery activity aligns with required governance, assurance and release expectations. • Coordinate release planning and readiness across teams — including digital publishing, accessibility and release assurance touchpoints where relevant. Ways of working and continuous improvement • Establish fit-for-purpose delivery practices and coordination forums — Agile, hybrid or structured project delivery, whichever suits the context. • Review delivery effectiveness regularly and put practical improvements in place to lift predictability, efficiency and team sustainability. Team enablement and resourcing • Remove blockers, clarify responsibilities and improve cross-team collaboration. • Support resourcing and onboarding by identifying capability gaps, effort requirements and delivery impacts.
